    Delivered 10 - 14 weeks
Upon ordering your items will be handcrafted especially for you. This takes time and expertise so we allow 4 -5 weeks for manufacture, quality assurance and packaging. 4 weeks travel to the U.K., and then there’s customs clearance and admin. It’s worth the wait!

We now send out items where the customer is not liable for import tax or duty (not inc Norway or Switzerland) through courier network DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) This is a delivery agreement between ourselves and the courier companies, where we are obliged by contract to pay all duties and tax on import rather than the customer. This DOES NOT include Norway or Switzerland. This is easily arranged through the courier and directly with the customer for these 2 countries.

We offer 30 day returns to our customer in most of Europe. We created this policy as part of our ongoing customer support to provide a hassle-free shopping environment, enabling customers to assess aesthetics in their living situation space.

One of the reasons you might be shopping with us is that you recognise the superior quality of our pieces. And just as we want our furniture to be the best you can find, we want our promise to you to be equally superior. That’s why, while most furniture manufacturers only offer a 1 year warranty, we offer a 5 year warranty. Please go to www.designer-icons.com to read the full warranty policy.

    CONTEMPORARY INSPIRATION

    CHARMING AND DECIDEDLY POWERFUL

Drawing inspiration from the beehive, which symbolizes energy and productivity, Achille Castiglioni designed the Splugen Brau Lamp in 1961. The distinctive corrugated shape of the polished aluminium reflector, which omits a bright, fresh, direct light suitable for people leading busy modern lives. Simple yet surprising, eye-catching without being overpowering, it is a great choice for customers putting together an upbeat, eclectic interior décor design for their home or workplace.

    UNDERSTATED SIMPLICITY AND ELEGANCE

Measuring 36cm in height and 24cm in width, the Splugen Brau Lamp by Designer Icons is just the thing for livening up bedrooms, walk-in wardrobes and city apartments. A modern style that features a polished and protected with transparent paint, spun aluminum reflector that provides clean, direct light. The highly versatile Splugen Brau Lamp is a timeless classic with its understated simplicity and timeless elegance. We don’t want you to be wasting your precious time looking for the right bulb so we already included one together with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty so all you have to do is install it anywhere you want and enjoy good lightning without hurting your eyes and your pocket.

    Inspired By

    A and P Castiglioni

Achille 1918-2002 (Italy) - Pier Giacomo 1913-1968 (Italy) Since 1940, Archille had dedicated himself to experimenting on industrial products with his brothers Livio (1911-1979) and Pier Giacomo. They focused on Urban Planning, Architecture and Design and worked towards developing a process of integral design. This meant considering how each component within the process would work in conjunction with one another, from the materials through to production. “There has to be irony, both in design and in the objects. I see around me a professional disease of taking everything too seriously. One of my secrets is to joke all the time.”
